Spider LilyType DesignThe typeface is inspired by the Spider Lily, a flower native to Latin America, but commonly found in many tropical regions around the world. Typeface selected and used for GSA’s Degree Show 2024 campaign identity.
Spider Lily Type SpecimenPublication DesignThe specimen was created to showcase the details of the Spider Lily typeface. It was designed to emulate the organic and sprawling nature of tropical plants using two-colour risograph printing. Dimensions 176mm*250mm.

Block Variable Type DesignBlock is a semi-modular typeface inspired by Singapore’s public housing blocks. Humanist forms are sculpted around structures constructed with a rigid set of modules. Its legibility makes it a versatile workhorse typeface.
Block Type Specimen Publication DesignThe specimen features pages printed on different paper stock in order to showcase the semi-modular nature of the typeface. Dimensions 176mm*250mm.

Block Letterform Sculpture SculptureThis sculpture is an extension of the Block typeface specimen. The sculpture is concrete uppercase “G” with exposed steel rebar. The exposed rebar in the concrete sculpture reflects the modules used to create the Block typeface. The choice of materials is informed by the brutalist origins of the Block typeface.Dimensions 650mm*550mm.

Things in Places: Issue 1 Publication DesignThings in Places is an exploration of objects in the peripheral within hospitality establishments. Unlike conventional written reviews, Things in Places uses experimental typographic techniques to portray verbal discussions about the object of focus. The publication could described as a typographically interpreted podcast.Created in collaboration with Josh Hale.

MAYBE 2 Exhibition Identity Design Type DesignIdentity and custom typeface for the MAYBE Exhibition in December 2023. MAYBE is a series of self-organised exhibitions that feature work by illustrators, photographers and graphic designers. Illustrations featured in the different poster variants were contributed by participants of the exhibition.
The MAYBE identity system was created in collaboration with Bea Hudson and Josh Hale.
